It never seems to fail. As Miami’s choice for safe and reliable discount cruise parking, we often hear the stories of our client’s cruise experiences, upon their return and we can almost always point out those for whom that this was their first. Though it seems a pretty straight-forward proposition – select a cruise that goes to your desired location and get on-board for a once-in-a-lifetime experience – a cruise vacation hinges on avoiding the mistakes that many cruisers make the first time out. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most often made cruising complaints and how to avoid experiencing the same:

  • Cruise Complaint #1: “I didn’t get to do anything that I wanted to do.” This complaint proves that you’ve chosen the wrong cruise line or ship. By matching your interests and desires, including activities and ports of call to the cruise itineraries and its overall amenities and atmosphere you’ll ensure a better experience overall.
  • Cruise Complaint #2: “They didn’t have much for the kids to do.”  Understanding that different cruise lines cater to different clientele can help you avoid making this mistake. Look for those that focus on families and offer a number of kid-friendly amenities.
  • Cruise Complaint #3: “I hated that little cabin.” Many people make the mistake of believing that all cruise cabins are the same. Take the time to understand just what cabin space offers what for each cruise line. Certain amenities are also available within the cost of the cabin so be sure to familiarize yourself with those and what is important to you during your vacation.
  • Cruise Complaint #4:  “Sure we had a lot of food, but I just wish we had something different now and then.” Many first-time cruisers are unaware of the ship’s specialty restaurants and find themselves eating in the main dining room for every meal. Make sure to ask about these additional dining areas and if there are extra fees attached.
