The last thing you want to worry about when planning your vacation is cruise parking in Miami. SafeCruiseParking.com will make sure your car is safe and secure while you’re at sea. As a cruise parking company, we also like to think we’re pretty experienced travelers, too. However, that doesn’t mean we know everything! We are still learning quite a bit about traveling, specifically about cruises. Today we’re going to talk about what to pack, what to leave home, and how to spend your money.

  • Pack lightly. You really don’t need that many clothes on your cruise. Sure, you’ll see quite a few sequined dresses and leopard-print stilettos, but if you’ve got kids, you’re mostly lounging around and enjoying a few nice dinners.
  • Pack more than one swimsuit! Turns out having two swimsuits was mighty handy, because you’ll swim a lot. As in, several times a day. It will be nice to let one dry while wearing the other one, especially on the days we were at the beach during the day and back on the cruise ship at night.
  • You don’t need beach towels! Cruise ships provide you with your beach towels. This might seem like an incredible “duh” to you, but it is news to a lot of people, and they’re often happy to have learn this little tidbit before they leave for their cruise. Towels take up a lot of luggage space (especially five of them or more when you have kids), so people take advantage of snagging beach towels at the boat before leaving for the beach, then returning them to their laundry pile before dragging it back to our room.
