Anyone who has lived near Miami knows that parking near port of Miami is ridiculously hard. So many travelers, with so little space. That area is simply a recipe for disaster when it comes to finding a place to park, and then hoping your car will be there when you come back. Now, I’m not gonna say that Miami is any more or less dangerous than a lot of cities, but you can bet that you will at least worry about it considering that you’ll be gone for so long. Cars that sit in the same spot are considerably more likely to have something happen to them than those that are mobile. So make sure when your parking your car, that you put it in a safe spot. Somewhere that is guarded and at least fenced.
