How Many Cruise Terminals Are There In Miami?

As of 2023, the Port of Miami has 9 operational cruise terminals, with others undergoing construction or renovations. While some of the constructions and renovations were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, their port is now up and running as normal.
Where Is The Miami Cruise Port Located?
The Port of Miami is located on Dodge Island and is sheltered by Biscayne Bay, a short sail from the Atlantic Ocean. The Port of Miami handles cruise ships as well as cargo and containers. The cruise terminals are located about 25 minutes (8 miles) from the Miami International Airport (MIA) and 45 minutes (25 miles) from the Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL).
All vehicles enter the port of Miami via the Port Bridge and the Biscayne Blvd. On the North side of Dodge Island, terminals A, B, C, D, E, F and G. The West side has terminal H/V; on the South side, there are Terminals K and J.

Which Cruise Line Uses Which Terminal?
Each named terminal above is operated and maintained by one main cruise line. Here is an overview of how the terminals are allocated to the cruise lines in alphabetical order:

How Do I Get To The Port Of Miami Cruise Terminals?

If you are driving to the port of Miami, from I-95 south, take I-395 East of Miami Beach. Then continue across the MacArthur Causeway. On the left, you will enter the Miami Port Tunnel (Road 88). You will see signs at your cruise terminal from there.
If you are coming from downtown Miami, you must exit I-95 to 3B Bayside. They drive south to Northeast 5th Street and turn left. The 5th Street led to Port Miami Bridge. You will then need to continue over the bridge and follow the signs to your terminal to board your cruise ship.
If you are coming from the south of Miami, you must take the SR-826 North to SR-836 to Miami Beach on the I-395 East. After that, you will need to continue over the MacArthur Causeway. The entrance of the Port of Miami Tunnel will be on your left. Make sure you follow the signs to your terminal as well from there.
